Whydahs & Indigobirds
African finch-like birds known for their striking tails (Whydahs) and mimicry (Indigobirds). While not true finches, they are popular with advanced finch breeders. Brood-parasitic in the wild. Legal to keep in most U.S. states, but some restrictions may apply. Each of the above-listed species is legal to own and sell under U.S. law, provided any required permits (for import or CITES compliance) are obtained. Always verify current regulations, as species listings can change.
